Arrive in Paro aboard Druk Air, taking in the stunning aerial views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Begin your Bhutanese adventure with a visit to Rinpung Dzong, a historic fortress built in 1645, now serving as both an administrative center and a monastery. Continue to Ta Dzong, the National Museum of Bhutan, where you will gain valuable insights into the country’s rich heritage. Later, explore Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples, dating back to the 7th century. Spend a restful night at your hotel in Paro.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Punakha, passing through the breathtaking Dochula Pass at 3,140 meters. From here, enjoy panoramic views of the Eastern Himalayas on a clear day. Stop to admire the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, built for the peace and prosperity of Bhutan. Continue your journey to Chimi Lhakhang, a revered fertility temple where couples seek blessings. Later, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, Bhutan’s second-oldest and most picturesque fortress, strategically situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Spend the night in Punakha.

Today, take a scenic drive to Gangtey, a breathtaking glacial valley in central Bhutan. Upon arrival, visit Gangtey Monastery, a significant Buddhist center. Enjoy a leisurely hike through the stunning Phobjikha Valley, home to the rare black-necked cranes that migrate here from Tibet during winter. Immerse yourself in Bhutanese culture with a visit to a traditional farmhouse, where you will experience the warmth and hospitality of the locals. Conclude the day with an overnight stay in Gangtey.

Depart Gangtey for Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Upon arrival, visit Kuensel Phodrang, home to the grand Buddha Dordenma statue, offering panoramic views of the Thimphu valley. Next, explore the National Memorial Chorten, a revered site of prayer and meditation, dedicated to world peace. Later, visit the Institute for Zorig Chusum, commonly known as the Painting School, where students undergo extensive training in Bhutan’s thirteen traditional arts and crafts. Spend the night in Thimphu in preparation for your wedding day.

This is the most special day of your journey as you partake in a traditional Bhutanese wedding ceremony in a sacred monastery. Monks will conduct rituals, offering prayers and butter lamp blessings to ensure a prosperous union. The ceremony will be accompanied by traditional Bhutanese music and vibrant cultural performances, including masked dances. A professional team of photographers and videographers will capture every moment of your celebration, while a cultural guide will be present to explain the significance of each ritual. The festivities will conclude with a Bhutanese-style wedding feast featuring authentic local cuisine. Spend the night in Thimphu, cherishing the memories of your special day.

After breakfast, travel back to Paro for an unforgettable hike to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger’s Nest. The trail ascends through lush forests and prayer-flag-lined paths, leading to a stunning viewpoint where you will pause for refreshments at the Viewpoint Cafeteria. From here, continue to the monastery itself, perched dramatically on a cliffside, and explore its sacred halls, where Guru Rinpoche is said to have meditated in the 8th century. In the evening, unwind and enjoy a farewell dinner in Paro before retiring for the night.
